I'm actually okay as long as I don't have to hold anything in my right hand, raise it over my head or extend it out and up, and make any repetitive movements.

Steve,

For a painter, fifty two is old IMNSHO. I have at least eight years to go before I give a crap if my body's holding up or not to this trade.

Sorry RH,

But if you were an employee of mine, I'd be looking at TJ as the keeper during the slow months.

Nah, this has nothing to do with that incident. Everything healed up pretty quickly from that.

This is my right shoulder. Pinched nerve in my neck - not sure how or when - it just "is". Not fun to try and work through it but I am - so far.

Part of my therapy is having traction (you're strapped to a device that slowly stretches the neck to relieve the pinching). I have to believe that some day this device will be in a medical museum where physicians will murmur and shake their heads at how primitive a method they used to try and treat this condition. This is taped on the wall where "the rack" is located. Nice to know the people treating you have a sense of humor about it all (I managed to make them understand through my screams that I'd wanted a copy of it - they obliged me). I'm kinda surprised my sweat drenched hands didn't get it all smeary.

Wouldn't blame ya. I am an employee of mine and I'm debating whether I should keep me or not.

You type more like you're in your 40's.

I have a pinched nerve (I assume) right about where my neck and left should meet.

It hasn't bothered me for awhile.

..of course now that I've mentioned it, it'll probably come back

Actually "racking" up (ha-ha, "racking" - get it?) all these "much coveted thanks" from you is making me feel a little better (not as much as the Hydrocodone and booze - but close). So... thanks for that.

No problem.

The more thanks I give out, the less they're coveted, and the more people will not be coveting them so much.

Women have no idea what pain is.

..although I've burnt myself while baking cookies before too, and it is quite painful.
