Talking Funny things that happen at a job site

I was doing some scrapping on a house, on a slanted roof right above a bay window. To my surprise I turn hear a little boy screaming, so I turn around. He was stomping around, butt naked, like king kong, all while attempting to use a slip and slide. Needless to say, I about died laughing. His mother came over and apologized. I said "We'll it is 100 degrees out, if I could get away with it I would be doing the same thing too."

Only funny thing here recently was a lady in the old folk home accusing us of being Drs. We kept explaining we're painters but she wasn't buying it. Had us cornered wanting answers about her foot. Was a good while before one of the assistants came to the rescue. Feel bad for the lady being old & all, but it was hilarious.

I've posted this before, but my wife works as an Addictions Counselor on a psych ward. One of the patients was very upset with the Dr's and saw a painter on a ladder in the hall. Snuck up on him and bit him through his whites on the leg.

(5 years later I met the guy and hired him. Turned out to be one of the best painters I ever had and a great friend.)

thats cool .........our minds are amazing things an just because somebody is goin through it doesnt mean theyre any less of a person. it doesnt take much for a persons wire to be crossed an sometimes even less to uncross them an its good to see theres somebody on the outside waiting tohelp them rebuild

I took it to mean he hired the painter who got bit, not the person who bit him

Yeah, same here. Unless you start biting people on the leg (well, maybe even then... eventually).

Couple of years ago I was hired to paint 5 Alzheimer's facilities throughout Arizona and the first one we started to paint within one day all of our paint brushes and misc. stuff like hand maskers disappeared. One of the residents figured out how to unlock the room they let us borrow to store paint and tools overnight and he took them all to his room. They searched all the rooms about 75 of them and found a man around 80 years old took them.

^ thats both annoying and really funny at the same time. I would've been unhappy about loosing the time, but id probably laugh about how rediculous it was.

Was at Caesars Palace building a High Rollers Bar during the AVN awards.

Adult film stars everywhere. All of a sudden the carpenter foreman yells " live ****o in the fountain".

Everybody drops their tools and run out to the fountain and 1 man and 2 ladies are making their own video.

The security guards are trying to break it up and the star's body guards are stopping them.

I was a steward at the time and the Superintendant is telling us to get everyone back
to work. Have a quick meeting with the other trade shop stewards and we give it our best to quit making a scene and get back to work.

Well a shout came from the workers " give me 2" in the union that means give me my last 2 checks.

The Superintendant yells at the crowd go back to work now or you will all be blacklisted from
their shops without eligibility for rehire.

The biggest scene I ever witnessed while working union.

You are brilliant, you caught my typo!
Now if we examine 100% of the members posts on this board (including yours), you would notice tons of misspelled words, poor punctuation, grammatical errors, run on sentences, lack of commas etc…

It's or "it is" just annoying when people use "your" when in should be "you're"! The two are actually two different words, with two different meanings.
It kinda hurts my eyes!
