Guess what I found....
Just did a wallpaper removal job today, was going to be easy just prep and paint....except after the paper was removed we found allot of mold underneath. We treated (removed) it and was surprised to find a 10 year
infestation of termites underneath. The walls are like swiss cheese, I can put my finger right thru. Going to have to rip it all out and start fresh...
I feal bad, tiny job just turned expensive. It's funny the things we come across.

 on my own window area in the back of my townhome I have to replace some studs, reset the joist rim, and redo the header to the window.. didn't think it was all out of the norm to have to replace structural components when dealing with termites/water damage.. Last time I asked a termite.. they like wood better than paper.. must be those Mass. termites that like the paper

Just did a wallpaper removal job today
Did one of those "easy" ones a couple years ago and ran into a huge swarm of honey bees. I am talking HUGE. They had to tear part of the outside off to get them all out, replace the whole bedroom wall, etc. $200 job cost about $20,000

This guy really got me thinking, something funny about this dude. Kelly says there is mold and termites and he wants to know if the studs or the drywall is going to be replaced. Now, I don't know about the rest of you guys but, this really gets a "what the ?"

He simply asked if the studs need replaced too. Kelly didn't mention it, so what's wrong with him asking? Do me a favor and go weed yourself out now.

Actually he didn't even ask if the studs were being replaced.
"So are you guys replacing studs?"
To me it sounds like he's just wondering if Kelly Painting is replacing the studs himself, or only doing the drywall part of it.
I'm sorry, somebody gotta cause some trouble around this place & Crow just isn't doing it like we were depending on him to.

OK,
Lines are being walked awfully tight here.
JNLP, "you're an idiot" crosees over it, please edit or I will. You know we all appreciate you here, but it would be best if you tried being civil like everyone else has. Thank you.
Chris, you're intentions are correct, but a better approach would be to report it.
High fiber: I kinda agree with Chris about the avatar. It would nice if you decided to change it on your own - especially since you have said on your "visitor messages" that are looking for a "start fresh" and that you are not really a bad guy. Also, if you think a post is flaming, REPORT it. You do klnow how.
This place has really improved with the tone and conduct, let's continue. I'd rather people self correct than for the mods to edit, close, or remove the above mentioned "oversights"
thanks.
Now can I have my first cup of coffee?

No problem! Now go delete all his wise-ass replies to every simple question posted on here to everybody who's not as "elite" as him.

As I advised "high" & Chrisn, if you see something that you think the mods should consider as being out of order, please report.
We do not remove, edit, or close on a whim. I myself, if I am unsure, will consult with at least PWG or post a question to the staff.
We do need everyone here to keep an eye out for inappropriate posts. Much of the junk here is caught by all you guys being diligent.
thanks
-Bill
