I'd use Ben Moore Acrylic Stays Clear Poly.

I'm in the same boat. I have to clear a mural where the dark-colors never cured, almost like raw pigment. The pigments must be encapsulated and protected, and I'd imagine this must be sprayed with the HVLP, at the lowest pressure.
Am I on the right track? PWG, do you think the product you mentioned meets these requirements?

BM P73 Sper Spec HP Waterborne Acrylic Urethane. Fast dry, excellent abraision resistance, crystal clear, very durable, can be used on floors, will not attack existing coatings. May be more durable than Stays Clear.

I do murals and I have always used BM stays clear as well. I use the low luster(still has a sheen). Usually I roll on with a short nap roller (cigar or weenie type), 2 coats. Make sure your mural has had a few days to cure as the top coat can pull and smear some color if not. also apply evenly or lap lines will show.

I'd imagine spraying it with the least amount of thinning possible as well.

Stays Clear is a good product and is used in high traffic areas by my customers. We have a product that I think would would great also.

I think NACE is on to something, but the link didn't work for me. I would try a "higher" end, industrial type product for the daily cleaning. That most certainly will take a toll.

I use Modern Masters Dead Flat Varnish on my murals, were customers don't want any shine. I have also used 1 coat Color Seal and then 2 coats C-500
urethane from Faux Effects.
What ever you use test it first because the stronger sealers will react with the paint and cause it to bleed. If you do have to protect it before you seal it you can use Krylan in a spray coat. Just a thin coat will do.
I sure you have done your job already but this might help someone.
