I already got someone to help with the painting. We did a trade out on some landscaping. I just gotta pick the colors. Cant believe no one has pics of stained ceiling with trim other than white.

I guess its not a common scheme. In my experience, if the ceiling is stained, the trim is too.

well, if I were to offer some suggestions, it would probably be something like this: on one side, the floor is offly dark already. Just a nice clear poly on the pine would keep things nice and light. On the other side, I think clear poly would look out of place above a red concrete floor. And if you crown, I would def. have it the same as the ceiling. I would probably just rock it and paint it just gray of white.

poly is the way to go otherwise youll have to much contrast if u dont want white

Porter Chestnut Brown looks good. It picks up the knots and the floor color and won't show scuff marks on the base. MOPAINT

The floors definately dont look red in person. More chocolate and tan. Maybe we can stain or just poly the ceiling and crown then paint the rest of trim.

Is there a website where I can see the Chestnut Brown. I did a search but could not find it online.

I may just poly the ceiling and go with this stain for the trim. You can see some of the ceiling but mainly the door in the pic. let me know what you guys think
