Default Graco 395 New In Box, never used, w hose whip & legit receipts

Hey guys,

I bought my #3 sprayer in august 2008 from Miller Paint in seattle, I intended to use it for a 2nd crew, and instead I'm scaling back on painting bids and focusing on carpentry and remodel jobs as the exterior market is not what it used to be here.

So it's the Graco Ultra 395, that pretty much speaks for itself, it's been stored properly in its original box and has never seen a drop of paint or even been out of the box except for once inside the store when we kicked the tires on it, so to speak.

I'm including a 3/16" by 3' hose whip for your spraying pleasure, it's unused as well, bought it at the same time. All told the package was $986.45 including tax.

I looking for $750 plus shipping, I'll call UPS and get a shipping est. tomorrow and update the post. I'd prefer to do paypal.

I can also provide pics and a scan of the original receipt if you like. So if somebody out there wants to save $100 or so on a perfect new sprayer, hit me up, it's legit.
thanks, jordan

here's the specs:

Default Shipping Info

I got a rough UPS ground estimate of $60 going to a new york zip code, so if you're in the lower 48 I'll just call it $800 even including shipping via UPS. It's still in the retail box, everything's minty fresh

If you're in the seattle area and can pick up $750 cash will do.

Or Woodland in Wash.

I'll pass at the moment. Still working on the budget and don't foresee the need right now.

Yes, I do want it and already sent a pm. Hopefully it will still be available in a couple weeks after I finish a couple houses.

He has had it in a box for almost two years I would imagine another week would not kill him.
Do as Nate says and offer a deposit to lock in that pending sale.

Damn straight! I love mine too. Perfect size rig for res-repaints. Small, lightweight & maneuverable. I have 100' line with a 5' whip. You can hold it wide open (I don't, but you could) & not have to play 'pump catch up'.. great all around unit

how would a purchase like this go down? paypal or something? How would you prevent "fraud" or a guy receiving payment but not sending the product? Not saying this is the case at all, just curious about how this transaction would work.

At some point, when doing on-line purchasing, such as through EBay, there has to be some type of trust or escrow used.

I sent a guy in Texas a money order for $1,100 for a plate compactor. It showed up at the airport 5 days later. It was a good transaction.

yeah, I understand transactions that are brokered through a third party such as ebay would pose little risk. But what about this specific one, where its just between the two parties without the broker?

Then there's a chance (I would guess very slight in this case) that someone could get burned.

I'm always looking for the boogie man. Most of the time he never shows up, but I don't want him to think he can show up when he feels like it.

Nope it does not. You could check to see if your purchase will be covered by paypal's protection plan but with privater deals like this you want to consider the media you are purchasing through, and any info or reputation you can find out about the seller, ask questions and go with your gut. If the item is not received you can open a dispute and the funds will be put on hold until the dispute is canceled or settled.

I have purchased many things through paypal from people I did not really know and all turned out well but when buying anything it is often buyer beware.
