I was browsing through a couple other construction related sites, found this and drywall talk. Think it's a good way to keep up on an industry that is always moving and dyeing in a lot of ways. Myself age 30 and my brother 27. Taught by our father, and his stepfather before him. Im thankful for the generation before me for its endless knowledge

A word of advice, don't become jaded by the social nature of a trade site. Keep up that spirit of interest and personal development that tradesman seek in sites like this.

Enthusiasm in gaining trade specific knowledge, as it relates to the technical and business aspects, can be displaced like oxygen from toxic gas given the egos, arrogance, and self absorption swirling in the interface of social media.

I figure it like this. When it comes to being in the trades...It's not about what you know, it's who you know. Arrogance and that other nonsense I kick my ADD into high gear to take care of that. To be completely honest with you friend if I can meet one colleague worth knowing outta 100 that passes bye in life. That's miraculous. Lol

Sometimes I think I'm reading William Buckley instead of the writing of a West Coast protective coatings application specialist. You can slather it on with the best of them, CA.
