Default Estimating Wallpaper Removal

I am a contractor in KY. I'm trying to nail down
My formulas so I'm not one of the shops who are bankrupt in
Five years because I guessed at the amount to charge.
I have 5 employees, who we pay with payroll checks withholding taxes etc.
and if like to see if anyone wants to share a price for removing 54" paper
And sealing, sanding and or mudding to prepare for
Finish coats. These are commercial buildings and glue sands
Relatively easy with pretty simple as I can tell from sample
Removal of vinyl.

We do it for anywhere between $1.50 and $2.50 a sq ft depending on the job. If it doesn't add up to enough to cover daily rates they're charged that way.

But I just guess, so don't trust me.

Welcome to PT.

In case you haven't found it yet, there is a whole sub forum dedicated to wall coverings.

This recent post on removal pricing was received well:

Thanks for posting on PaintTalk.com. Straight pricing questions are frowned upon here, as are 'Going Rate' questions. If you are a contractor seeking advice regarding your pricing structure, the Moderators of this forum would like to direct you to this pricing thread - Pricing, Estimating and Success.

PaintTalk.com is designed for professional contractors to discuss issues and topics related to the commercial and residential painting industries.

We apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused. This thread has been closed.
