Default Sherwin-Williams Service Connection

Is anyone apart of this program?
I've heard of it but know nothing about it... http://sherlink.sherwin.com/swapp/re.../pro/index.jsp

We've been a member since they started it. We've had 2 leads so far. It's free, so the cost is reasonable. I do have to spec SW products for these leads, but we use a fair amount of SW so that's not an issue.

That seams very cool but I haven't bought more than $1000 worth of paint since I opened shop... I don't qualify.

At the very least it would be worth it for the back link.

I purchased about $130,000 worth of paint from them in 2005 and they never told me about the program.

From what I heard only one person in this area has ever gotten a lead. Not to say that its not worth a shot. Price is right.

I talked to a friend of mine that is an ASST. Manager and he said it is junk. No one he knew of that was in the program got any leads. I get free leads from the managers as well as the rep when things come into their reach, so why even bother?

Sounds like an idea that someone at the Headquaters had and put out there without every following through.

I don't know how many gallons it was... I just know how much the bill was. If it helps we purchased paint that was anywhere from $17 - $35/gallon. Mostly Loxon Primer (not conditioner), Super Paint, Duration, and Cashmere.

SW isn't evil. They are a very good company. I don't like everything they do, but that is why I've developed relationships with other manufacturers-- namely Pittsburgh. It gives me options.

Consumers know Sherwin Williams and it makes it an easy product to sell. I also think their products are good but I'm no scientist. I've never had any problems with them. The paint goes on well and the paint holds up.

LOL I like this guy!

I try very hard not to buy from SW, or any nation wide chain for that matter. Especially one that seems to take so much joy in buying up any and every mom & pop left on the planet... and there ain't many.

I'm not exactly loyal, but why? Do they do their testing on rats or something?
