Default Travel time pay

For any of you that have crews who either drive their vehicles or your companys...do you start the clock when they pick up your company vehicle or when they get to the job? What about if they use their own vehicle and pick up other crew members. Again...from time of pick up or when they arrive on job site?

In business 15 years and still question what the right answer is. Thanks!

if they come to shop first time starts when they get here

straight to job? time starts when they get there

but i adjust the time they leave at end of day ... mostly due to traffic
really don't mind if the leave 30 min early to beat traffic

but it's a 2 way street ... get the work done before you go home
