You guys!?!
So I recently did a modest repaint at my Aunt's house, and included in that we did stain touch-ups and a fresh round of poly on a great swath of trim. All of the trim we did used ZAR Antique Flat waterborne poly. It was the lowest sheen I could find, and she liked it well enough in the samples. She loves the way it came out everywhere except this one door.
It opens up into a bathroom, and there's a window right there, giving it 180° light all day long. How can I deaden this up for her?
Can I . . .
. . . wet sand it with 400 or 1000 grit glass paper?
. . . use another, flatter product that is compatible, and just give it another coat?
. . . . *shrugs* ??
I'm going to be back over there in a week or so to start fixing a ceiling, so I'm going to address this door around the same time.
