Peter, I thought I'd post this privately so the other Pete does not see it. Here is the link to the Illinois Secretary of State for corporation/LLC searches: https://www.ilsos.gov/corporatellc/

A search for Pete the Painter only brought up "Pete the Painter, Inc." "Pete the Painter, LLC" did not come up. Could you use the latter? By the way, Pete the Painter is from my hometown, Northbrook, Illinois. Have heard of his company for years, but never met him. I do rather like Peter Martin Painting. It does seem to have more of a ring of respectability to it, one that you could charge more money for by using! At least in my opinion. Best wishes on whatever you decide.

Topsfield has Cali, Waters & Brown in Bevely has Cali. They closed Zodiac because the manager wanted to retire. Seems like a poor reason to close a whole store, but they did. Again if you need anything I can arrange to deliver some stuff if you don't mind meeting me in west gloucester.

Zodiac closing is news to me. They also own Dawson's True Value in Topsfield and Beverly. I'm almost sure they only carry BM in Beverly. I will ask around and see what happened. This is what I got from their website.

Regrettably Zodiac Paint and Paper was permanently closed on Saturday, August 30. All of the staff at Zodiac and Dawson's would like to thank all of the people from Ipswich and the surrounding towns for their loyal support for over 40 years.
