Recently I reached out to Apollo to inquire about becoming a dealer. Oh boy what a nightmare. Like many other boutique manufacturers they seem uninterested in getting their product into the hands of small independent dealers.
$5000 minimum opening order, require minimum $10k required yearly purchases, I'm not allowed to sell any other brands of HVLP equipment and pricing is heavily dependent on volume sold. Small dealers basically don't make anything.
No thanks! I can't get on board with unethical, anti-competitive, MLM style business practices. What a shame because they seem to have a good product.
