I bought a pair of Edge Polarized tinted safety glasses. Over spray from oil has done in so many pairs of shades I lost count. I am blown away by these Edge glasses. Sprayed oil primer today, buried the glasses amd wiped the lenses off and they cleaned up nicely. They cost a small fortune, at least by my standards, $40 for them, usually I spend no mare than 5 bucks. I will say money well spent.
Doing a lot of work around the house lately (seems I'm busier now I'm retired ) I have found the cheap goggles with cheap replacement lenses quite satisfactory.
Most fit over regular glasses so you can wear your $200 prescription polaroids under.
When we were doing a lot of ceilings, I bought a pair of aviator style prescription clears with real GLASS lenses as they cleaned a schit load better than plastic.
