I kinda like the 90% tax on those bonuses. The gov't giveth and the gov't taketh.

as I always say, we all make mistakes, it's what we do to correct those mistakes that shows what we's made of.

Watching FOX news is like watching preachers from a megachurch. Not that the others impress me...

can anyone else remember when news wasn't so politically slanted - one way or the other?

Old Walter "Crankcase" was pretty politically motivated himself.

It just shows how naive the current administration is and how continually stupid the house and senate are. Get caught in a lie...just spin your way out of it. Sometimes I think we're just about as stupid, we continue to vote these jokers in office.

Think about it; how many of you have given bonuses to your employees if you lost money on a job? Ever send a year end bonus to an employee that quit or you fired? Do you continually lose money on jobs and do the next job the same way?
Go to a bank and tell them your losing your butt in your business and ask for a loan?

But then what the hell do I know? I'm just a dumb painter....

Cronkite was slightly biased and it got worse from there. At least he still reported the news. Today some report the news with personal views injected.

FOX stands out because they don't spew the left's line of dribble.

To be intellectually honest they do report the bad on both sides. (unlike some networks) Most of the reporters there had worked at other "left leaning" networks and some have been hired away from FOX.

CNN seems to be doing a less biased newscast, but the networks are unbelievable.

In the end we tend to favor those whose news tastes better to us.

Its beyond absurd to spend millions writing a bailout plan and then spend millions writing a bill to tax it back at 90 or 100%!!!
Boggles the mind.

I think we can be pretty ignorant at times but I think the politicians have simply gotten bolder with the lies. Self serving corrupt bastards

I was happy to see it was on my son's high school reading list.

Myself, when I read it at about age 13 (it was in the bookcase next to my bed) I thought it was a cute barnyard story

I think I shall read it once more

1984 was required reading in H.S.
