Default Medical bills arrived.

For those of you contemplating a heart attack, thought I'd let you know what the final tally was. Keep in mind that this was for 2 days in the hospital. Drum roll.......$60,983.37. (Sure like to know what the .37 was for.)

Jeezus
Good job you carry insurance.
You ought to try the NHS. All free.

Hope you're getting stronger by the day, Wolf.

Yeah, if I'd a had the time I would've checked CraigsList. Luckily being a disabled Vet with an 80% disability the VA is picking up the tab...with no co-pay.

Again, thanks to all of you for the kind words. I wish I could really explain what it means to me during the past few weeks. Aw hell, just know that there's a special place in my heart for all of you.

I think you guys should avoid them.
Not dragging this into politics (hate to keep qualifying this)
Sure glad we are covered here.
Wow!
You know, if you can offer your painters some good insurance
some good family men will stay with you forever!

Glad you survived this!

We, it seems hospital expenses are not going any cheap soon, and never. I just want to say wow, that's such a high bill.

Just to put it in percpective, The cost for my being born, including all medical procedures, drugs, 3 days in hospital, etc, etc, was $478. Now this was 1953 and on a Navel base in England, but even still.

Yeah, my son was born on an USAF base in Florida in 1974. All I was charged for was a laundry/food fee....under $18.00. Turns out that was the cheapest cost of raising him LOL.

Chris, what were the charges on your recent appendectomy if you dont mind me asking?
