Good advice. Been trying to get my daily routine going again. Have gotten a lot accomplished in the last couple weeks.

This is a great tip. Another one is what some sleep specialists call "sleep hygiene", here's a good site:

oh boy, im sooooo sorry. stress will for sure make that happen to you. i went through something quite similar about a month n a half ago. i went to bed with work on my mind. i would wake up with work on my mind. and for the love of god it never failed... every freakin night i woke up spazzing about work. so i understand what your going through. its tuff when theres too much work n it gets overwhelming, it get tuff to handle when there is not enuff work and yor worried how youre going to pay your bills next month. im sorry that you are having a difficult time sleeping. find an outlet of some sort and the sleeping thing will get better.promise

Oh man, I feel your pain... I haven't been able to sleep properly for couple of weeks now, I can't just go to bed, I've been up till 3 am and getting up at 7am... I think I'm stressed about work and stuff and I know it and I don't know what to do about it either...

Slept in til 3:30 this morning. Went to bed at 9. Going to help another PT member on a job today. I think as I get back in a regular routine after two months off things will get better. Ah, 4am and now The Sopranos is coming on lol

Fell asleep at 2 am, then woke up at 7am, then pressed snooze til 10am, all alarms were ringing (got 3 of them, and each one has 3 too). I think I am fighting off a cold now. Just took a bunch of medicine that should start kicking in. Guess if there is a time to be resting, winter is about the best for it.

That's good news, Woodland.

For myself, I can second some of what was posted via the sleep hygiene link, especially about caffeine intake. I know it affects people differently, but if I ever have any after 12:00 Pm, I'm not as restful at night. I try to keep it to two cups or less of coffee in the morning. Alcohol also seems to have an effect. If I get drowsy cause I've had a few and fall asleep, I invariably wake up at 1:00- 2:00 in the morning, and can't fall asleep until 4 or 5. Another thing that helps is if I wake up, I don't turn on the TV or pick up the computer.

Good luck, I know where you're coming from.

Thanks. Havent drank alcohol in years. Almost 16 Love coffee and do drink more than I should. Just finished a cup and its 6pm. Bought some decaf a couple weeks ago and figured I would give that a shot and thought it tasted like chit. I dont have a problem falling asleep, but just keep waking at 2am for some reason.

Rob hates me, I sleep like the dead! My head hits the pillow and I am out till 5:30 am, no matter what day of the week, whether I go to bed at 9 or midnite!

He tosses and turns, takes sleeping pills, tried everything!

Must be a woman thing. My wife sleeps 8,9,10 hours every night. Me, maybe 6 on a good night.

My wife is the same....and definitely not a "morning person", whereas I am. I just bring her a cup of coffee at wake-up time to stay on her good side the first hour or so when she wakes up. Life is so much easier that way....

Now a couple weeks ago (Before I realized Chris was female) this would have really had me wondering what really goes on in Southern Utah. All this time I simply assumed Chris was male, owned RCP and Rob was an employee who Chris seemed to be strangly close to. No offense, but its the web and I only know most of you by your avatars. Anyway, went to bed at 10 last night and woke at 5 am so hopefully things are improving. Having a small job today probably helps too.
