Got thinking I got to do. I enjoyed this place and hope the best for all. Just to much Drama. I come here to get business ideas and share what has worked for me. And have a few laughs. But if this is what Forums are about bashing each other I don't want any part of it. I got caught up with it when a few oldies were in the bashing mode. Its one thing to raz someone but another thing when one is just out to bash. Ya, they had good post. But that doesn't make the bashing right. In fact, it just make all their post worthless. Not giving people a chance to grow is wrong. Lost, I know I attacked you when you 1st came aboard. I said mean things to a lot of people here. N8 is one, he is a cool dude and I attacked him in a bad way. Sorry to you to big fellow. And all the others that got sprayed with my bullets. I love to help other business, watch them grow and flourish and doing the same with them. I go out of my way to help some of my local competitors. If they were here they would attest to that. The bashing just hurts ones business. Causing less sales due to prospect lurkers. Chris warns me of my sig, but that doesn't hurt as bad as words of other posters. So why would I worry about my sig if whoever is slandering with their post? I think we have laws about that kind of behavior.
Again thank you for all your guys friendship. I value the relationships I have created here.

This thread is really not serving anyone very well. There is more to it than what Gabe is letting on. Perhaps the thread should never have been started - but I can certainly empathise with the motive.

Gabe has PM'ed me and said I could delete or close as is my choice. I think just closing it will not serve the community very well. So I am going to use my discretion and delete portions that feel do not make people shine in their best light.

If any other mod wants to completely delete, that's their call and I will support it. I will save the whole thread first in the staff section for reference in case anyone has a huge disagreement with my decision.

Thanks for everyone's understanding.

And Gabe,

You and I have run the gammut. It is interesting that I've been accused (at least twice now) of showing you favoritism. If they only knew the truth eh? We both have learned and evolved. I hope you stay and continue to shine in your best light.

Well, I don't understand this thread at all,and wing I don't want you to go at all. I really think you should rethink this. All of these guys are gone now, and things have changed a lot.I think to leave now would be closing the door after the cows got out. In fact I miss some of the tit for tat stuff. If you think customers are checking out your online stuff, I don't think so. Most likley the people that would go that far, you don't want to work for anyway.

Thanks John. Means a lot. I won't be leaving. Just got ticked off. Didn't mean to threaten to leave. But that's the way it came out.

Once again Ewing stirs the pots and mods let him have his way..

I read the first posts before the deletions. A few months ago this forum started to read like one of Crow's posts, just alot nastier. People made adjustments, whether that meant they left as participating members was their decision. To tell the truth, differences aside, we "lost" some good members. I dont mind if they come back for a visit or even decide to participate again, but only time will tell. Probably would have been better off with this in the Zone though.

MAK,

You are correct, you said nothing wrong. I made a judgement call to remove anything that did not cast people in a favorable light. I do not think it best for anyone for the alleged lurker to be tried and convicted in this court.

Nothing done to this thread would make everyone happy. Whether left alone, closing it, deleting it, or editing it. No right choice.

If there is a lurker that is trying to undermine this forum, let's not play into his/her hand by warring amongst ourselves.

I was about to move the whole thread to the trash before Gabes post, #21. But like Bill said, no matter what we do, someone will take offense. Just because someone still visits the forum, it does not make them someone who is trying to undermine the forum. I think Bill was right to delete the name. Let's not make an issue of it and try and do what is best for the forum.

What is missing from this all is what was said about a few here on another landing spot on the interwebs. Was not cool. That is why this thread was made.

lol, I would LOVE to get really nasty with some of the stuff I read on here, but only for fun. People get their feelings hurt too easily. So I just sit here and lol.

Is there a forum related to PT that is exclusive to some members but not all?

Mak,
Just want to clarify, I was simply using PT for the purpose of trying to stop some rough horse play, per say. Please don't take this as if PT is going back to the old ways. I don't think the mods would allow that. BELIEVE ME daArch has had his words with me and has showed me no favoritism. I chose to change my attitude. if I hadn't, then I would not be posting this right now. I respect you and your post here, I hope you consider staying more than leaving. You will not be seeing any more drama created by me. I give my word on that and I sure wouldn't want you or any one else leaving due to my pissing match.
Thanks
Gabe

MAK, If you leave you'll just end up in Lurkerville like the rest. You've been here longer then most PT's posters. Don't let these ego driven narcissists discourage you.
