Default Rip dad

I haven't posted in awhile and I just felt that I needed to say that the last few weeks have been really tough. My father passed away last Tuesday and we had a wonderful memorial service for him Today.
Him & Mom came over for Easter Dinner and he wouldn't eat. Took him to emergency and he had his Gal Bladder removed which lead to complications that kept him in the hospital for quite awhile.

He ended up in rehab and was about to be sent home when I was called to rush to the hospital.Blood clots went to his lungs and he never regained consciousness.

I had to make the decision to remove live support and then we waited in Hospice.

He did go beautifully in the arms of his wife of 56 years. RIP DAD

Aaron,

So sorry to hear about your dad as I lost mine 3 months ago and i Can only send prayers you way. It's amazing how the little things around you will remind you of him daily. You will laugh and cry at the same time, it all sucks but keep the memories around

Sent from my iPad using PaintTalk

My condolences to you and your family Aaron. 56 years - that's pretty amazing and says volumes about both of your parents.

Prayers and thoughts are with you and your family Aaron. It's tough to all of a sudden having an empty spot in your life. Some of it you can fill with memories and some of it will always be empty. Take your time to deal with it all.
