That painter blunder may never be topped. Wow! I'd hate to see what he'll be charging per square foot with that $400M debt he owes to the Navy. LOL!

The guy kinda resembles Jesse Pinkman. Bet Walter White was involved someway.

Just be certain if your in the market for a nuclear sub, you get a carfax report before buying. No doubt this sub will end up at one of those dubious used sub lots. Always best to buy a certified used sub from a dealer.

Sheesh. A lot to that story and a lot of questions. How does a guy like that have such free reign around a nuke sub that he was able to set TWO fires at different times? What the hell was he painting? All to get off work early? Holy Toledo, there's other ways besides burning through 450 million dollars. Makes you wonder just how closely those subs are monitored/watched when they are in for upgrades and repairs.

The best part is that he owes $400 million to the navy. Those will be some small paychecks after garnishment.

Well, the good news is he'll have fifteen years in prison to develop a strategic business plan. The bad news is, his cell mate will likely have another strategy in mind.

He was probably inspired by James Aitken aka John the Painter who was a painterís apprentice and naval saboteur.

I'm picturing a scenario much akin to the final scene in Fargo...William H. Macy and his cellmate....
