Default Storm in TN

Well my father in law is in the hardwood lumber business. Mainly sells to flooring manf., furniture manf., millwork manf., etc. Well this morning around 4 am a tornado and flood hit his lumber yard. So this morning the men in the family go to check things out. It maybe a total loss but we were trying to salvage what we could. All his sheds are on the ground. So I was trying to get the loader out from under rubble. So I was cutting 2" angle iron with my saw zaw. There was a lot of pressure on the metal and when I cut it popped and hit me in the fore head. I was leaning out the window doing the cutting and it nearly knocked me out the other window. I'm taking it easy the rest of the day but I'll get some storm pics later but here are pics of me.

Ouch! So lucky it did not hit your eye!
So now is it your son's turn to serve you popsicles? Take it easy.

But why did they shave only part of your face?

Wondered if I should've put this here ?

The good thing is the ins. is going to pay for the labor of clean up and restacking lumber. My company's list of services just expanded so it'll help fill in the schedule. Plus I'm just going to drive the loader have my laborers do the stacking.

You need a better story for the ladies --- "I was running through a burning ophanage hold 4 babies when a burning wall was about to fall on us, I used my head to protect the babies and we all got out alive!"

Nice gash.

Show some pix when the eye blackens. You should get some nice colors in a couple of days

BTW, not even trains win over a tornado.

Getting pounded with rain and under flash flood warnings, there were torando watches but I think they expired. Nature can be very humbling to say the least.

In the last pic You can see the angle iron towards the top of the loader it was attached to the angle iron above the flatbed. There is about 6 ft of space in between so you can imagine the force.
