Default Texas Wok

Going waaay off topic again

This is a wok I made from an old 18" disc off of a harrow. Not sure how it got to be called a Texas Wok other then being farm equipment and of course the obligatory horseshoe handles.
It was a neat little project and its a blast to cook fajitas on.

That is pretty cool.

What made you wake up one morning & decide "Today, I'm going to make a wok!"?

That's pretty cool though & creative indeed.

Nice work!

I think I would do some projects like that if I had the equipment.

Bending metal gets addictive Tooled. Look out!

I don't clean it. Just a quick wipe down with hot water. Its some sort of hardened steel so it doesn't want to season real well.
Next project is a cool fire pit grate

JNLP, you don't want to know the things I think about when I wake up

I thought you were suppose to clean with oil. Part of how to season it.

Well yes, but I wash any food off first.
Wife was pissed. I used all the peanut oil to season it
