I've been listening to audio books at work lately with the phone. Not the same as reading, but it's nice sometimes. Better than a blasting radio to me.

What you need to do is get the audio book of Steven Hawking's A Brief History of Time, plug your phone into your Dewalt job radio. Guaranteed you'll have your work area all to yourself.

I use a Casio flip phone that has the internet service restricted. All of my online meddling is done with my iPad. But the thing is too bulky to carry with me. So I'm considering an I touch where I can listen to audio books, or music, when I don't have an Internet connection for podcasts; which I really enjoy. Would this be a good idea from anyone who knows much about the touch?

An update on Tapatalk is causing errors on multiple sites including the broken attachments you are currently seeing on this site.

Tech support has already notified Tapatalk about the issue. I will update you as soon as I know more.

A patch has been developed to correct the problem, and has been deployed, so I have re-activated the plugin. Please let me know if any issues still remain with it.

Hey Cricket, website version also appears to be having some difficulties last couple of days. Hangs up sporadically. Just thought I'd let you know.

Okay, final update on this and then we can move on.

Yesterday Tapatalk provided us with a required system update that was deployed on all our sites to allow the app to continue to function with the forum. The installation of this update resulted in the following issues on the forum:

  • Double posts
  • Attachments not showing
  • Like function not working
  • Encoding errors
  • Edit function not working

We have received a patch from Tapatalk that should address these issues and have deployed it onto the forum. If you have encountered issues with the site in the past 24 hours please clear your browser cookies and cache and see if the issue persists. If it does please let us know what browser you’re using and any errors you receive.

Thank you

I haven't noticed any problems with tapatalk over the past few days, it's worked fine for me.

When I click on Paint Talk I get this message

But it goes right to the forum after that with no problems. And nothing is not working as far as I can tell.

It's been like that for a couple days. Same thing on CT, but not DIY.

It might be the cache on your phone?
