I suggest a "no thanks" button.

Maybe they think it would be a slippery slope.

Instead, I propose a "You Suck" button.

That way under peoples names it would say "Youve sucked 843 times"

I thought it would make for a "kinder" "friendlier" forum.

Rather than criticizing with hurtful words...you can simply click the "no thanks" button.

But Hines' idea of the "you suck" button is awfully catchy.

How about "thumbs up" versus "thumbs down" icons like many Comments sections???

I agree, I was getting tendinitis from clicking on the "User Control Panel", scrolling down to "Edit Ignore List", and adding a user's name.

That was one feature i missed after becoming a mod. I had one person here on my "ignore" list, and it killed me to have to read his drivel again.

One person? I had a whole section on ignore and I was less than pleased when it suddenly reappeared.

A no thanks button will give a negative spin to the forum, granted it could be argued that newbies could have a better idea on who to take advice from and who not to take advice from, but it would probably turn into a clique thing.
