I was just curious, is this going to be a pros only site or is anyone allowed to join in?

Pros only. As with all the sites DIY questions should be asked over at www.DIYChatroom.com (Soon to be DIYCentral.com).

Is that what you had hoped for?

Well... that's the way it's suppose to be. It's hard to filter everyone out even though we do ask during the registration process.
One thing to keep in mind though is we view "Pros" as anyone who works in the industry. So that might be a paint manufacture rep, store owner, etc...

yea it is nice for homeowners but there is to much lingo and transparency for them to see about estamating and stuff..and it could give them knowledge so more people could do it on there own from asking questions even though most will still prob be discouraged...make those bastards pass a paint and coatings test..lol

I was hoping for a painter forum that the public can't see.
LOL, for obvious reasons.
