Guys just wondering can you get a pro finish on doors with a graco 390? Does it spray on to thick?

Use a 310 fine finish tip and good paint to do the trick.

yes woody said it exactly right. I myself have a 390 and i used it to spray latex for doors with a 3 10 tip and it worked great. Obviously, just make sure to have all the settings adjusted before spraying, doing a few tests first.
You should have no problem just make sure you lines and filters are clean and paint strained. Or i put a strainer sock over the pick up tube to help with no lil chunks.
Enjoy!

I like a 310 on some doors (like louvered ones) but on run-of-the-mill 2 to 4 panel interior doors I like a 412 FFT

A 390 can spray anything you ever wanted to put on a door.
