The wealth of knowledge and the sharing of that knowledge at trade conventions is very much worth the price.

I will admit that attending every year, they tend to become repetitious and not so enlightening. But one every three or so years should be on your "must do" list.

I'm in total agreement Bill. I've been to enough over the last 15 years that I've heard just about all there is. But I still get little golden nuggets sprinkled about. But for ME, it's more about re-energizing myself.

Today's first one is about to start. "What's your financial IQ" by Linnea Blair. Should be good stuff. Got to run.

Linked in is a networking tool, great place to meet other professionals of all types, kind of like having an online resume. Here is a short blog I did, but the article I referenced in it is a good read.

I agree Paul, I also think the networking (as in sharing ideas, not business cards) is great. Please let us know how Linnea's session is, I have been following her on FB, great stuff.
