Default Australia vs USA paint brands and prices.

Hi Guys, could you tell what paint chain the biggest in USA, in Australia we have three major brands Dulux Wattyl and Taubmans - Dulux is absolute leader their warehouses are everywhere and tint consistency is good.

What prices are you getting for 15L medium range (interior low sheen) paint?

As we think to bring this to OZ as our local price for medium quality $AU140.00 per 15L

Many thanks,

we pay twice as much for paint in Australia than what the Yanks pay. Then again we earn twice as much as them, so its all relative.

Sherwin Williams, Benjamin Moore, and PPG are among the biggest here in the US. For mid grade paint you can expect to pay anywhere from $25 to $35 a gallon depending upon brand, sheen, and how much volume you do.

Dammit Ryan! I told you to knock it off - you're on vacation! Put the phone down and walk away!

Just be sure to check in the morning after your vacation is officially over. If not, there will be a virtual PT search party organized and in motion by 8:00am (est).

NOW GO HAVE SOME FUN!

Our dollar has had parity with the U.S dollar for some time but it has slipped back a few cents at the moment.

I pay $ 68 for a gallon of Zinzzer primer (blue label water based 123 )
