Last year, a card with a $10 gift card to Starbucks if I remember correctly and a jacket (yippy!) from SW..

This year, a card and a note telling me to get a jacket and hat at the store from SW....

I'm nearly done purchasing at SW. No respect...

A good sized percentage of my business was built on leads from my paint supplier. They have become my friends. I forgot to mention asides from gift cards they also gave me 4 spray tips.

My Vista rep surprised me with a basket of baked good, chocolates, cookies, etc. Had a tast this morning. Delightful! Now that was above and beyond and by far the best gift I have ever received from a rep. How can you beat home baked goods.

Unless its fruitcake

WTF! I didn't get any spray tips. Freaking greedy corps.

I was in Vista waiting to get my paint mixed up last week. The Graco rep come in and hands the manager a box of chocolates for him and the crew, and a ipod touch for the manager

Gabe, that's because you are obviously already in the 1%.

I bought 3 quarts of Rye for 2 foremen and the owner of a Construction company that I did a lot of work for this year as they were great guys to work for and very obliging ! I also gave the guys/girls that mixed my paint gift certificates for 100.00 for the 3 of them . I also bought a sweet tray for the gals at the coffee shop and a 100 buck gift certificate for the girls at my accounting firm who are great to have when needed .

I have never ever received anything from a builder . I also have few meat pies that I deliver around to those that help us out over the year like the snowblower guy...mechanic...and also my 2 employees who I gave 200 bucks each and yesterday off with pay .

A local building store that we deal with gave us a Hoodie and that's about it...and I honestly could not care if anybody ever gave us anything...I lose no sleep over it whatsoever .

Merry Christmas folks...drive safely and remember to make sure your pets are warm and feed on these cold Winter nights .

gifts from companies, outside of excellent prices and top flite service, makes me feel awkward.

the kind of awkward when you see someone's zipper down, and they are going commando.
