Default Gym equipment

Ok needs some opinions on something
What paint will hold up better and look the best on gym equipment? I thought about auto paint . or the rustuleom paint? I am not brushing paint I will be using a sprayer air/ or airless

I would just use some oil based DTM. Car paint is a very expensive system.
