Default help finding thread.......

Maybe I am not searching right but I can't find the thread that was about making something look like wood.....

I think it was a metal door being talked about and shown how to make it look like wood. I didn't know what to enter to search that, obviously what i entered didn't work

Anyone know which thread i am talking about?
Any other threads on techniques used to get the look of wood or antiquing?

The search feature here is not the best for sure! I entered "faux woodgrain" and found this also.
