Default Holy yellow jackets!

So I go to change out my headlights yesterday and I saw a shadow, turned to my left to see all of these buggers coming at me. I dropped every thing and ran for my life. I used Brake parts cleaner to wipe them out. I have a feeling I didn't get them all.

Yep, they're mean little f-----s. They've been pretty bad here this summer. We had a really mild winter so more made it through.

since it's cooled off to the point where I can leave the doors to my store open I've had those little bastards flying through here like it was Grand Central station or something! Just in the back door and out the front! As long as they aren't staying I'm cool with it!

It did to me. I thought for sure I was going to get stung. This old man can run fast if needed. I just checked the hole again, all the dead bodies are moved and lots of those little buggers flying in and out. I can see the entry hole better now so tonight I am going to nuke them, ok spray some killing stuff on them.

Just make sure to get the yellowjacket killing stuff that consumer reports magazine says is the best and not some crappy stuff like they sell at the professional yellowjacket killer store!

Is that the stuff that attracts AND kills in one?

Yes! And as far as I know, it does it all in one coat and is even self cleaning and sticks to anything.

The worst thing about these little guys is that as things are cooling off, they get surlier and start flying lower to ground. Just the other day in our backyard I saw about 30 of them just crawling around in the grass.

I have to imagine they know they're dying. Maybe that's giving them too much credit.
