Allowing the "ACCUBRUSH" to advertise on a professional painting site is the most hypocritical thing they could do..It makes me sick every time I see that ad...

But the mods boot out the DYI guy every chance they get.

I DON'T GET THE HYPOCRISY...YES I DO, IT'S CALLED GREED + SELLING OUT.

Who cares about a little thing called Integrity...

Actually I believe that it is a google add that fills in what matches the criteria. I could be mistaken but that is what I think.

Honestly if Nathan brings in some advertising dollars filling a banner on top I am happy because it takes money to run these sites that we enjoy. I have seen a lot other sites that sell ad space and you get bombarded with amazon.com ads on over page, this is actually very light.

Bottom line is you can not please everyone and if a banner for accubrush gets you that twisted you might want to look into some relaxation techniques.

I don't have a problem with advertising, but to have a stupid DIY devise as your biggest banner AD is hypocritical...We pride ourselves as being professionals, but every time you click on this site, the first thing you see is a gimmicky DIY tool...We pro's laugh at that thing...

There is no control over the type of banner that's placed there. When you use adsense to make money on a website (which this forum does for it's banners), google serves whatever banner matches the contextual criteria on the page.

So, if you're page is talking about paint/brushes, google will push whatever ads match the criteria the adwords advertiser specified for their ad.

You know, if JP got a hold of one of those in conjunction with his magical nail hole filler, he would be able to actually paint homes in NEGATIVE hours.

Its not a question of integrity. These forums are Nathans business. He is the ceo of a corporation that owns a bunch of these things and he does not try to hide that:

I do question the validity of the summary report of pt:

The site is popular among a skewing older, more Asian audience.

Is that who all those lurkers are?!!!

Now that the merger with Haven Home Media is complete, even more people will know.

So if I use an accubrush and an auto-loader roller system, will I actually grow younger as I work? 'Cuz I would really love to lose these crow's feet.

Never argue with a fool - they will drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.
