Default I hate mondays... Hate them... Seriously hate

Well this one has done it to me . Went to start a 3000sq ft elasto this morning... Show up, house is locked can't get power, generators at home, call the GC he can't be up there for 2 hours. Ok fine let's start masking windows etc. The stucco plasterer got **** ALL OVER the frames, ok fine let's clean em up ... Got power set up the pump and BOOM my rig won't pump! It's not dirty I clean the thing meticulously crystal clear water and pump saver after every use. So I walk over and it's PUKING paint from the top of the throat into the lube cup... Blew the packing...oh great. Since you need a heavy duty rig to pump elasto I call my brother to use his . Drive across town and snag it , sweet gonna get this house primed today ........ NOPE, he used it and switched all the fittings to 1/2" lines and I don't have any adapters with me .... Finally just said F this , packed it up and went home.... Somedays are better than others and I gotta tell ya this ain't one of those days.

Bad days come and go the trick is to have less bad days than good ones.

Is this that rig you bought used from the old lady?

Sorry, Pinch
I had a good day today.

I'm pretty sure tomorrow's gonna suck though.

Look on the bright side, you were ABLE to work today.

OR, if you can take it as a learning experience, do so.

OR, just kick the dog when you get home.

Did you repack the pump after you bought it? I try and do that on every used purchase, just in case.

And these kind of things only happen to you on Mondays? You're a lucky guy!
Hope you have a better Tuesday.

I got a speeflo 4900 this year for free! They thought it was broke, but the knob to close the prime valve was stuck open, I gave it a nudge with a pipe wrench and it has been good ever since, it came with the gas and the electric motor too!

Bummer. My Monday wasnt bad. Im halfway through an exterior and rain comes Sunday as they predicted. Got up this morning and more rain which was no surprise. I had planned on a day off, but still needed to go get my trailer for an interior I have scheduled for tomorrow. I kept looking out the window and saw it stop for a bit and put on my whites just in case. Went on out and started running trim. Dark clouds all afternoon with a couple sprinkes from time to time, but the rain stayed away. Got a lot done today. Sorry, just had to throw that in there

4900 is good, but will labor a bit when pumping heavier materials. 6900 is better and the 8900 is even better. We have all of these and my guys always love the 8900. We also have the 12, but that is a beast.
Buy the biggest one that you can afford, you will be happier in the long run.
