About 5 years ago I went home to visit my dying mother.I painted her bedroom just to make her remaining months more cheerful.That was the strangest paint job I've ever done.Tons of emotions to deal with.

That's sad, TJ...you're a decent guy that lost a good client.

I'm fortunate to have had quite a few good/long-time clients.. so far I've only lost 1 (to old age).

But about 5 more of my "old timers" are a REALLY getting up there (one's almost 90).

Seems like all the sudden, most my customers are younger than me.

...and I can't even say for sure when that happened!
