Default kitchen cabinets

I have this little job to do, part of it entails repainting some kitchen cabinets. They were orginally painted with a white melamine paint. They are to be finished in an off white. I plan to take them off, sand em with the orbital and spray them off. She would like a satin type finish , not too sure if i should recoat with melamine or mabey with a BM satin impervo?
Thinking the melamine may have a bit too much shine to it?

Easiest thing to do is to repaint it with the melamine....Check the market, there must be a low sheen melamine out there....If not,use an alkyd primer and finish with your favourite acrylic top coating...You could also use a low sheen latex and then clear coat it.
