I have a customer in Mass that owns a three family and was built pre 1978. He said that that it has new siding and that it doesn't have lead. This being said, I am not RRP Certified and by law can I scrape and paint this building? Thanks
My understanding is that you have to be certified,or employ a certified person to work on pre 78 structures.
Doesn't really matter if there is lead present or not. Only a certified person can legally make that determination anyway.
i am cert in pa test area and scrape and test under area be sure to check all around the home ,,if less than 20 sq ft you can do without cert(6sqft interior) if all around its a big fine if you get caught
