OMG ! Those are PRICELESS

Can you imagine slipping those on when a HO asks you to take your shoes off when you are about to measure for an estimate ?

Actually, only about 2 bucks a pair. Also great for wiping up spills on the floor without having to bend over (or so I hear ).

Wow did I stir up the damn hornets nest with a simple exclamation about slippers?

I did not know anybody still used that term!

Slippers, jeeees

I take my sneakers of at the end of the day and go in my socks if you must know, probably a redneck thing.

BTW nice diploma

All you guys need to get a job.

Chrisn -
I too used to fall prey to the baser instincts of our existence: a package of Slim Jims, a bottle of Dr. Pepper laced with peanuts, and reruns of SpongeBob Squarepants was all I needed to get me through an evening.

Then I joined PT and the more mature (i.e. old) and cultured members of PT slowly made me see the philistine existence I was actually living.

Now, the thought me wearing my velvet smoking jacket and fez while relaxing in front of the fire in my private library, smoking my brier pipe, sipping a cognac, and reading War and Peace, without a fine pair of slippers on my feet is downright barbaric. Stick around here long enough and you too may hope for a little culture to rub off on you as it did for me.

Sincerely,
D. Researchhound, Esq.

PS - Yeah, you is a good sport.

so if you get up at such ungodly hours, does that mean you go to bed around ..... ah ...... NOW,

or do you hit the hay when the adults do and get NO sleep.
