Default Metal Clad Doors

I have some clad doors that are factory painted that a customer us wanted reprinted. My question is can they be scuffed up and painted or should they be primed with a bonding primer? I was planning on using duration two coats for them. Thanks for any input.

I would use an adhesion primer, but you could do a scratch test with the duration.
