Default Mileiq to track miles in work truck

Just started a trial of Mileiq. Awesome! It tracks the miles you drive, and then later you classify drive as work related or personal. And, you do not have to do anything to activate, just have the phone in your truck or van. There is a fee of $5.99 a month, or $60 a year, which I am gladly going to pay when my trial is over.

That sounds awesome! My accountant had mentioned something about this but she wasn't sure what the name was. Thanks! I assume it works in old a55 Volvo work cars too.

Check out MileBug too. Cheaper and does the same thing. I tend to not use the GPS so it does not drain the battery, but I have used it as well.

I have an app called Mileage Tracker, works the same way, based on the gps on your phone.
I only paid a one-time fee of 99 cents, zero costs after that. Works great.
I import the cvs file once a month and print it out.

I write the mileage down at the start and end of the year and every time I get gas. It's all work related as it's a dedicated work truck even though I use it for everything. All this other stuff just's complicates everything, cost's money, is gizmo related and waste's my time.

I checked it out on Google Play, and the reviews for the newest version are less than stellar.

I was just about ready to give TripLog a try. Anyone used that?

Take online reviews with a grain of salt.

I'd be running out the door and buying Behr paint in the morning if I believed them all.

-oops- sorry for killing your thread.

They must just have issues with the Android version. Too bad.

I generally do, but a lot of them were very specific about the issues, and a lot were complaining about the same things.

One issue that I do have with mine is that although it places me on the made correctly the names are way off. It has me working at Rocky Neck, which is a couple miles away fromn where I am working.
