When you do a take off, devide the total price with the square foot. You will determine the price per sqare foot.

Cheap jobs $1.29 per foot interior exterior.
High quality 10.29 per square foot.
Keep a data base.
You will soon develope a data base for smoothe wall, window casement, linear cabinet costs, fence staining etc.
The more experienced painter use this meathod.
