Default new low!

I just got an e-mail that said it was sent by Taylor Swift! BUT it turned out that it was actually a "Sarah Noemi" and she wants to know if i can paint her interior if she gives me her credit card number and pays in advance. Seems she won't be in the US until March. HAHA! Right!

Tell her you'd be more than happy to. Play her along for all it's worth. I love messing with the people.

Thought someone was messin' with me a few years back after receiving a voice message for a project, not quite being able to make out the name on the message, sounding like "Judge Law." I didn't bother responding thinking it was a joke of sorts. I get a phone call a year later from a vendor asking how I made out with their referral for "Jude Law", not "Judge Law." Oh well....

What’s the problem? I see nothing amiss with someone, due to some current minor banking issues, over paying me by $5000 or so and then wanting me to facilitate a simple repayment to them of that amount.

I saw an email to a contractor that looked suspicious like one of these CL paint my house while I'm out of town scams. Lucky I read it because it happened to be the same spelling of last name as another good customer I knew. Turned out to be the guys brother. Easy 6000sqft job before anyone moved in.

You can tell its a scam if it has the word "Kindly" in the message.

My last bid request like this was from Benji Moore. Are the scammers trolling us to see how dumb we are?

They troll thousands of people looking for that one person that is that stupid. Not me though!

I'm wondering....since Taylor swift is so protective of her trademark rights and the reputation of her name, should i contact her management and tell them about this? I'm pretty sure they already know. Hopefully she will sue them and rip them a new a55. Of course with these scammers being over seas i don't know how much she could get out of them. It would be funny though to see her sue the crap out of them.

they always have to send payment through a sugar account. I insist. I'll pull my payment from that.
