Had a nice chat with George from Excel today, seems like a straight shooter with upper management written all over him. Seriously though, it was good to connect though it seems like he and Damon are both in the position of established contractors in WA- busy for the summer season before it even starts. That is my case now, but I worked off personal referrals for years wishing I had more leads to pick up, seems like there should be some hungry young'uns out there looking to fill an empty calendar.

It is an official Sign Of The Times: I am having a hard time giving away jobs in the largest growing metropolitan region in the country! Let the good times roll!

But the credibility thread said not to trust anyone on the internet! Everything is lies! Paranoia!

I'll go now.

Damon met him in parking lot of paint store in 94 or 95; told him he should join PDCA; years later he became president of the local chapter. Integrity and experience.

George toured the BM test farm with him a few years ago on a trip to NJ and NY. He has been to my shop and we talk shop. Best tradesman owner in Seattle.

I credit my exposure to John Shearer's high-energy and motivational presence for me sticking with, and greatly improving my business during a difficult stretch. That NJ/NY trip was epic! Life long memories for sure!

Sending more leads to Excel Painting because nobody else in Seattle seems to want personal referral job leads for free!

VERY cool to see the local (talented) guys working together. This site is awesome! Happy for everyone here. Very nice to see you forward opportunities Shinehound. I'm in Kitsap county working for a small company. Just me and the owner and I'm jealous of you successful companies knocking out high end spectacular work on a regular basis.

Just got a heads up on an open bid on a medium size townhouse exterior(10-15 units?) in Lynnwood for 2016- pretty easy story and a half type construction, not in too bad of shape from what I can tell (a friend's mom lives here). Hit me up if anyone is interested in putting in a bid on this.
