Default Preasure washing and water conservation.

As this applies probably to my california affiliates on here. As we approach having water limit restrictions. How is this going to effect pressure washing?
I feel guilty pressure washing anything now because of the drought, but its a required essential part of exterior prep work.

Hmm.....

Good question. The governor just announced a mandatory 25% cut back today.

I guess I could still wash 75% of the house.

I've been wondering the same thing. They almost restricted it last year, but removed it from the final list.

I bought a pressure-pro rig that does downstreaming so I can wash much quicker.

I've been debating on trying to do a press release to my local papers announcing it, but I've never tried press releases.

They usually let pros work at the first level of restrictions. A few years back in the Carolinas, they cut everyone off. Guys were pumping lake water into tanks.

I think the we'll finally see the light bulb going off in the painters heads in these areas...when they realize that with the right mix of soap & chems, applied downstream with the right tools, they'll be able to cut their washing time in more than half, thus flying under the radar to wash another day.

A real long hose to suck out of Lake Erie maybe? I could hook you up for $30 a gallon.
