How long did you leave it on before you pulled it? I left some on a test sample I painted and it pulled off better the the Shurtape CP-27 did. But that was just an overnight dry time. Some tapes are better at being pulled off when the paint over it is dry then others. That's one of the things I am trying to determine. If it sucks, no way I'll sell it. But unfortunately my testing ability for tape in my hillbilly paint lab is kind of restricted. It's hard to see how tape will perform on a large application over a longer period of time.

Good info. I did a test board that I am going to let dry for a couple of days and see how it pulls off. I have some 3M 2090 and some Shurtape C-27 on the board as well. That should give me a good indication of how well it pulls.
