From 1-10 rate your :brush skills, masking, prep, selling, estimating, delegating, hiring, managing, marketing, planning.

Average them out, see where you stand. If your average score is less than your score for the other thread, you should consider working for McDonalds. They have excellent career opertunities since we are a fat country.

I'm a pretty good painter.... And I'm still in the bucket....

However....

There ARE better out there than me.

Therefore, what I rate doesn't really matter except in the bind.

There's way better'n me out there.

I know them here where I I live.

I want to hire them.

I want to run the bidness and sell the jobs!

Still though.... I think I'm around an 7-8... Averaging out..........

Marketing and sales.... maybe higher.... Who knows...

YMMV

Cheers!

Painting skills (brush, roll, spray) I'd say 10 since I earn a living painting I have to be good right? Buisness side ( admin, bookkeeping, marketing) 2 or 3 estimating and customer relations 7 or 8 and hiring 0 can't keep anyone around not sure if its me or them:-)
