Your one of my heros. You coined (for me anyways) the term "feeding the beast" and with 76 full time employees between commercial drywall and paint, ive embraced it- ulcers and all. (Thanks alot jackazz )
FWIW, i am completing my last intentional NC res project. Finally quality job costing is letting me know its not worth the effort to keep that sector going. And im getting too old to keep holding all the homeowners hands of every repaint in residential with the amount of crews and personel i have these days. We have always done them but i am finally at my stopping point. I would strongly caution you against switxhing models unless your ready to downsize or get more involved in the constant grind of meeting and dealing with multiple clients before during and after. As a small scale office compliment, 11 workers will run you ragged in res repaint and NC Res will drive you to the poor house.
I wouldn't worry about it.This internet thing aint gonna last
