Default TIO2 & BillyB

Well congrats to Alec Archibald (rcon) for picking up on the spamming troll TIO2. I just checked his IP and it was the same as BillyB - you all remember the Behr spammer.

Yup, Alec was correct, this guy was a Behr sales rep using inappropriate, unacceptable, and unwelcome tactics to promote his product. There is a rule on painttalk against having multiple ID's, which isn't enforced to strictly, unless of course it's done for spamming reasons.

I deleted the Why Why Why thread as it was of no worth.

Both user names will be banned and I will ask Nathan to ban the IP.

Thanks Alec

Yes NC, BillyB was nailed immediately by many (you included). But Alec called TIO2.

And my perception of this has NOTHING to do with Alec's last name

Yah, we really ought to have a museum for some of the classics.

As annoying as it was, it was a good one.

I'd PM you, but it would be too much of a PITA to include the whole thread (it's safely stored in the staff "evidence locker" )

I can't. It's too long. There's no provision to PM a thread, and it would be too long to cut and paste each post.

What is wrong with these people???

Seriously. It's possible to function and be very successful without all of this shifty, nefarious, evasive, bullsh*t.

Just be upfront and helpful and honest about your product, where is the big mystery here?

How can there be adults in the world who not understand this?

This certainly is not helping their reputation any.

I almost wonder if it is sabotage from a competitor, or a Behr hater, because I am amazed that anyone would use such a self-defeating approach to business.
