That's absolutely crazy! And the sad part, as a group we are doing it to ourselves.

Since I adjusted my production rates and pricing I have lost 3 in a row on price. It sucks, but every job I loose I get 2 more. We are booked solid until the end of June and I know we are not winning on price! I just get greedy and want it all!

Here is the slightly crap meaning to the phrase "the dogs" - I obviously left a word off because it's a forum.

We grew up with that phrase

Thinking of vents, you know I really hate the thick black dust that congregates around the sides of them sometimes... Philthy

Good stuff !!! We have had a good run for almost 3 years non stop but it has become quiet since March with not much happening in construction in our area . I likely could find more work if we traveled for 1-2 hours but we will wait it out and hope things pick up by April-May as Summer always looks after itself for the most part .

If my math is right, you just landed 6 new jobs. That's not bad.

Thanks...might have to check that one out . My partner is gone for the upcoming week on vacation and I'm fighting the flu and sinus cold today...and I have 3-4 days lined up this week . I hope the calls start coming in...as I had a few the other day for work in May and June interiors . If worse comes to worse I have 2 HUGE 3 story homes that need a lot of work...thus I could spend some time prepping them if the temps don't fall back again . Those guys doing the church painting must be in the Eastern end of PEI...3 hour drive . Thanks for the info .

I saw a lot of new sub division work when we drove to the Airport couple of weeks ago in NS . Hope you guys are getting lots of that stuff !!!!

and some asshats want them covered with the paper. That's about 45 - 90 minutes (depending on size) of sheer hell.
