What’s your “Title”?

What’s your “Title” on your business card?

I’ve never used one because my name in the logo, but it seems standard business card procedure is to have your name and title listed regardless of what the company name is.

So far I’m thinking: Owner / Contractor

I think “President” applies to more to a corporation, and "CEO" just sounds expensive. :whistling2:

I Don't list a title on mine - just my name below my company's name. Being a OMS it would seem a bit pretentious. But that's just my take - others may give excellent reasons for doing so.

I don't list my name or "title". My last name is the company name. For other purposes when I refer to myself I use Owner/Operator..."President" sounds like your a banker, I'm sure some use it...to each his own

just my name no titles on the card. but when dealing with larger entities I do add ceo. as labels get more reckoning with business minded people.

I could definitely see the value of having a few different types to use as needed. If I had to use a title, "Owner", would be my choice. Simple and accurate.

My title is not on my card but I am the Vice-President of Residential Sales and Operations.

Do you just add it to your card with a pen? Or two seperate cards? And what if they ask who the president of the company is?

My title isn't on my business card but when I send a business related email, my signature has my name, title (owner), and my number.

Always thought titles were pretentious. I'd rather show people I am the owner with knowledge, apathy and professionalism. That's just the way it was taught to me.

ProWallGuy 08-27-2012 06:07 PM

Just my name. If 5hit goes south, I don't want them to know that the buck stops here.

Builtmany 08-27-2012 06:23 PM

Manager and I believe that is as high as you can go in a LLC. Old cards said Manager/ Owner below my name.
